Environmental Stewardship

Solar-Powered Exploration Camp
Snowline and the Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Development Corp’s renewable energy partnership powers up to 90% of the Forks Exploration Camp, significantly reducing diesel usage.

Regional Industrial Clean Up Projects
At the historical Plata mining site, the Snowline team cleaned up abandoned equipment and materials left by previous operators from the 1980s, earning the Yukon's R. E. Leckie environmental stewardship award for our restoration work.

Early-Stage Progressive Reclamation
In partnership with Yukon Seed & Restoration, botanical inventories are documented at key work areas with on site native seed banks created for future reclamation. Additionally, 100% of drill pads created between 2021 to 2024 on the Valley Gold Deposit have been progressively reclaimed.
